KD Tours & Iceland Travel – Business Development

From 14 June to 25 June, we supported Hakan and Alda during their sales visit to Australia. Our goal was to connect them with local travel agents and trade partners to secure potential bookings and negotiate special rates.

We coordinated their meetings, found local counterparts of their international connections, and personally accompanied them on guided tours of each city, introducing them to our extensive network. Our efforts resulted in significant engagement opportunities and a substantial number of inquiries for 2025, underscoring the success of their visit and the effectiveness of our support.

Objectives

To facilitate a successful joint sales visit to Australia for Hakan and Alda, representing multiple DMCs, by arranging meetings with travel agents and trade partners to generate enquiries, potential itineraries, and new business opportunities.

Outcome

The joint sales visit to Australia, representing multiple DMCs, was highly successful. A total of 42 agents were visited across four cities, including 16 in Melbourne, 9 in Brisbane, 6 on the Gold Coast, and 11 in Sydney.

Through our coordinated efforts, we facilitated meaningful engagements with local travel agents and trade partners, generating a significant number of inquiries for 2025. The visit not only strengthened existing relationships but also opened new business opportunities, highlighting the effectiveness of our support and strategic connections.
